In the 20 minute episode, Donia Marzougui and Yannick Molm\u00e9ret, two experts from Verkor leading the Work Package \u201cSafety evaluation for electromobility applications and implementation of novel performance testing processes for innovation acceleration\u201d, take us along in their conversation from innovative battery materials and safety-by-design approaches to digital manufacturing platforms and recycling strategies, the discussion highlights how research and industry are working together to shape the next generation of lithium-ion batteries and support Europe\u2019s ambition to build a resilient, circular, and competitive battery value chain \u2013 from lab to gigafactory. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cToo often, people think of battery safety only in terms of preventing fires. But in reality, battery safety is about designing, using, and managing batteries responsibly \u2013 from thermal control and electrical protection to safe transport and user awareness.
